The Niyamas are the second limb of the “eight limbs” of yoga and concern our conduct with ourselves. Although they were composed over 2000 years ago, these principles remain steadfast guides to conscious living.
By observing our actions through the lenses of cleanliness, contentment, discipline, faith and divinity we learn to recognize our true Self more fully and to steer our lives in a more fulfilling direction.
In this workshop, we will use mind mapping, dialogue, meditation and Yin Yoga poses to bring these teachings to life. We will study the continuing relevance of the Niyamas in our everyday life so that we can apply them in the here and now.
The Niyamas are powerful tools for transforming negative energy and cultivating self-awareness; experience them personally and allow them to unfold in your life, both on and off the mat.
