I was lucky to grow up with a curious and intellectual godmother. She taught me the magic of reading books. Fairy tales were my first loves and since then my curiosity and love affair with books has only grown. Novels, yoga philosophy, neuroscience, self-help, poetry, biographies, art, science fiction fill my bookshelves.

Lately I’ve been inspired by book happenings around the city. Books & Books and the Roots Bookstore & Market bring people together to simply read. That got me thinking. What if we read together under the oaks after our yoga class? Everyone brings their favorite book, we put away our devices and just sit under the majesty of the oaks and Spanish moss and soak in magical worlds, history or just a good old love story. It’s a chance to do our own thing but in a community setting. Can’t wait to see you there. 📚
